The Wayfarer drone is another project that I completed as an undergrad. The goal was to design a lightweight, compact drome that was easy to deploy. My team and I went for an unconventional drone design inspired by a Nalgene water bottle. The intended idea was that the drone we created could be folded up and stuck in the side pocket of a backpack, where it could be quickly accessed again.
